Mobile proxy not working? What to check

Find out whether the problem is your plan, proxy settings, connection or destination website.

Check the plan before changing settings

Open Proxy setup. For By bandwidth, check that the key is active, its expiry is in the future and it has data remaining. A positive money balance does not mean you have purchased bandwidth. Use Buy bandwidth to convert part of that balance into GB.

For Dedicated mobile, check the rental’s status and expiry, then copy the details shown on that rental. Its credentials are separate from the bandwidth generator. If a purchase is still processing, check the existing order or contact support before placing a duplicate order.

Authentication errors and HTTP 407

HTTP 407 means the proxy requires authentication. Copy fresh credentials from the correct product, including the full username with its country and session settings. Check for spaces, line breaks and an old password saved in your application.

If your client asks for four separate fields, use host, port, username and password in those fields. Do not put the whole URL into the host field. If it asks for one URL, copy the generated URL format, which encodes credentials for that format.

Retest with one request after each change. Repeated authentication failures with a current active plan are a useful signal for support; retrying continuously does not repair credentials.

Connection failures and timeouts

Check that your client’s protocol matches the selected endpoint and that your local network permits outbound connections to its port. A name-resolution error occurs before a usable proxy connection: verify the hostname you copied and your local DNS connection first.

If you can connect but the request times out, try one small request to a second destination you trust. Compare with a direct request to the same page. If only one destination fails, investigate that website’s response, access rules and rate limits rather than assuming the whole proxy is down.

For the bandwidth pool, check whether the selected country still has availability. Temporarily testing another available country can isolate a location-specific problem. Lower parallel requests while diagnosing the issue. Do not disable certificate checks to make an HTTPS error disappear.

Unexpected IP or country changes

Confirm that your application is using the proxy for the request you are testing. Some applications have separate proxy settings for different traffic. Check that the selected country and session are still present in the copied username.

For continuity, keep the same session and use Sticky. An automatic rotation mode intentionally changes routing over time. A mobile connection can still change its public IP after a carrier reconnect, and different geolocation databases may label the same IP differently.

Keep the observed exit IP and the name of the location-check service for support. An IP’s database label alone does not establish why a request failed.

What to send to support

Contact @proxymobilesup on Telegram with the product type, country, protocol, time of the error with time zone, and the exact error message. Include an order reference if the issue concerns provisioning.

Describe the smallest failing test and whether another destination works. Redact passwords, access codes and full proxy URLs from screenshots and logs. These details make it easier to distinguish an account issue from a routing or client problem.
